Marvel Hills provided excellent day trip organization, homemade breakfast, breathtaking views, and a convenient location for low-budget travelers.

The apartment was clean, big size and amazing with views over the hills. They were helpful and fantastic, and we had a REALLY REALLY NICE stay for one night. The room was neat, with exceptionally comfortable bed. Location was marvellous and comfy, a 15-minute ride to Blackout. Everything here was excellent; would love to return.

The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking sights of the city and surrounding jungle. The location was convenient, close enough to the town center but still peaceful and quiet. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast served at the hotel, with a good selection of local and continental options.

Finding the hotel was quite difficult as tuktuk drivers were unfamiliar with the location. It would be helpful if the hotel provided a screenshot of the map to show drivers, as giving them the address didn't help.

We couldn't have asked for better value for our money at Marvel Hills. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. We didn't want to say goodbye, would definitely recommend! 😍 The place we stayed at was so charming and pretty close to the Temple of the Tooth, the lake, and the city center. It was especially awesome being perched on the side of a hill.

the owner was friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. the location was great, close to the train station and in a quiet, green surrounding. the breakfast provided was superb, with delicious Sri Lankan options that changed daily. the room, although small, had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay here again if visiting the area. Cons: the room was smaller than expected and lacked proper ventilation, which made it difficult to get comfortable at night.
